That great that you want to change the world for the better. My text was not about forces that i consider a «constraints». It was about what you can do GIVEN existing constraints. I can criticize all day all kinds of things external to myself, as you seem to focus on. But it does not «concretely» change reality for people trying to make their way through life. As for student debt, in Canada it is not as bad, and I am Canadian. I know TONS of students who are doing well and are happy and thriving, even with the normal ups and downs of life. I entirely agree that mental health problems, depression and suicide are all synptomatic of a broader «system problem». I do not address this in this text. Again, this text is about what you can do in the world «as it is» (very imperfect indeed). Best of luck on your plans.
